Interfax Moscow, April 30, Eurasian Economic Commission Trade Commissioner Srepnev said that the Eurasian Economic Commission Executive Committee decided to cancel some fabrics and disinfectants export restrictions and study lifting the export ban on medical masks.
Si said that the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union can significantly increase the production capacity of protective equipment in a short period of time to ensure sufficient supply in the alliance market and export to countries in need. The alliance will uphold international norms of open trade and assist the global fight against the epidemic.
In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Executive Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission made a decision on March 24 to temporarily ban the export of some medical supplies, including cotton, to outside the alliance.
