As Vietnam prepares for the “Fourth Industrial Revolution”, Hanoi Textile Industry University (HTU) will promote a new training program for the next generation of textile industry workers.
HTU President Dr. HoasdfssdfsngXuasdfssdfsnHiep said that the fourth industrial revolution is in its early stages of development.
This is a strategic and critical period for developing countries to keep up with world trends, especially in the development of the textile and garment industries. In fact, machines and technology can be purchased, but people, knowledge, skills and insights are completely impossible. If humans can’t satisfy it, no matter how advanced modern machinery or technology is, it still won’t work. In other words, employees are always at the center of everything.
The school develops a standard output training plan based on the results of a survey of labor market needs in the textile and garment industry, available actual job positions and Industry 4.0 development forecasts .
This program places special emphasis on cultivating students’ thinking, technical and problem-solving abilities. In addition, the school also focuses on establishing technology-oriented textbooks on textile production management, quality management, order management, maintenance technology and textile engineering.
The university has also signed comprehensive cooperation agreements with nearly 50 textile companies. In accordance with training objectives, these companies arrange for students to practice, send experts to participate in teaching, develop plans, courses, sponsor scholarships, and arrange jobs for graduates. </p
