On January 27, 2021, Health Canada announced a recall of baby sleeping bags produced in China and India.
The recalled products are sleeping bags for babies aged 0-6 months. The product is made of fabric, has armholes and closed feet. The brands involved include: FirstWish, Sasdfssdfsm&asdfssdfsmp;Jo, DylasdfssdfsnasdfssdfsndAasdfsdfdsy, MissMonasdfssdfsMouse, Hasdfssdfsrry&asdfssdfsrry&asdfssdfsmp;Me, Aspen. Model number is CA07043, available in various colors and patterns.
The neck opening of the product is larger than the British standard, which may cause the baby to slip into the sleeping bag, posing a risk of suffocation.
The products recalled were sold in Canada from January 2018 to December 2020, with approximately 17,482 units sold.
As of January 25, 2021, there are no reports of accidents or casualties in Canada.
Health Canada recommends that you stop using this product immediately and return it for a refund.
