\n Whether outdoors or in a fashionable neighborhood, when the hot summer arrives, people always like their clothes to be more sweat-absorbent and more breathable. The new achievement of researchers from the University of California – fabrics produced with microfluidic technology may bring about revolutionary changes. <\/p>\n
\n It is reported that this kind of fabric is like human skin. The inside of it close to the skin can absorb sweat, “condensate” it into water droplets and then discharge it from the outside of the clothing, instead of only soaking the clothes to help sweat away like traditional fabrics. The technology applied in this process is called microfluidic, that is, the fabric is woven from water-repellent materials and densely covered with water-absorbent material conduits. Sweat will be “actively” absorbed into the conduits and discharged from the other side. It is said that the technology and raw materials used in the fabric are quite cheap and are very suitable for mass production. <\/p>\n
