It represents the percentage of the projected area of \u200b\u200bthe spinning yarn in the fabric and its corresponding fabric area.  The percentage covered by the projected area of \u200b\u200bwarp yarns is called warp tightness (warp coverage), and the percentage covered by the projected area of \u200b\u200bweft yarns is called weft tightness (weft coverage).  The tightness of the fabric has nothing to do with the specifications of the fabric. It is determined by the organization and structural state of the fabric (the buckling state of the warp and weft yarns).  Generally, the &#8220;relative density&#8221; of the fabric is used to evaluate.
