Tencel is the trade name of Lenzing’s Lyocell fiber. It is a high wet modulus regenerated cellulose fiber produced by wet spinning after dissolving cellulose in a solution of N-methoxymorpholine (NMMO for short). The production is carried out in a closed system, and the recovery rate of the organic solvent NMMO can reach more than 99%, which is harmless to the environment. Lyocell fiber is biodegradable. <\/p>\n

Ordinary Tencel G100 fiber has high moisture absorption and swelling, especially in the radial direction. The swelling rate is as high as 40%-70%. When subjected to mechanical action, the fiber splits along the axial direction to form longer fibrils. The fabric can be processed into peach skin style by taking advantage of the easy fibrillation characteristics of ordinary Tencel G100 fiber. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n
