Finished product orders decreased by 40%, and these four markets accounted for approximately 60% of Bangladesh\u2019s total leather finished product exports.  The Bangladesh Tannery Industry Association stated that due to the ongoing epidemic of the new crown epidemic, the sales of the leather industry have declined, resulting in a shortage of funds, and most tanneries do not have enough working capital to purchase raw hides.
