The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), under the authorization of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations &#8220;Product Labeling&#8221; (15 U.S. Code \u00a7 45 asdfssdfs.), issued a &#8220;Made in the United States&#8221; (Masdfssdfsde in USA Lasdfssdfsbeling, MUSA) labeling notice of rulemaking (NPRM) to prevent conflicts with MUSA  Unfair or deceptive acts or practices related to labeling.  <\/p>\n<p>According to the notice, sellers are prohibited from making unqualified MUSA claims on labels unless: (1) the final assembly or processing of the product occurs in the United States; or  (2) all significant processing performed in the product occurs in the United States; or (3) all or substantially all of the ingredients or components of the product are manufactured and sourced in the United States.  <\/p>\n<p>The notification involves the following products: 01.080.10-Public information symbols; 61.020-Clothes; 61.040-Hatches, apparel, and buttons; 61.060-Footwear; 83.140  &#8211; Rubber and plastic articles; 97.160 &#8211; Household textiles, linen fabrics; 97.190 &#8211; Children&#8217;s equipment.  &lt;\/p<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 16, 2020, the United States issued notification No. G\/TBT\/N\/USA\/1634.
