To avoid the spread of the Covid-19 mutated virus, the French High Commission for Public Health recommended the use of masks with higher filtration efficiency and issued No. 2021-76 on January 27, 2021 decree. The decree mentions:<\/p>\n
1. Masks must be worn in any public area. <\/p>\n
2. At the time of sale, compliant masks must be separated from non-compliant masks, and distributors must inform when masks comply with health authority recommendations. <\/p>\n
3. Masks must meet the requirements listed and belong to one of the following categories:<\/p>\n
(1 ) Masks that comply with EN14683+AC:2019 (or equivalent standards) are defined as medical devices;<\/p>\n
(2) Imported masks with surgical shapes, excluding fabrics Masks with at least the same performance as those mentioned in bullet 4;<\/p>\n
(3) FFP2 or FFP3 (EN149 or equivalent) masks without exhalation valve ;<\/p>\n
(4) Non-hygienic masks (UNS) comply with:<\/p>\n
\u2014\u2014Particle filtration efficiency> 90% (3 microns);<\/p>\n
\u2014\u2014Breathability allows wearing the mask for 4 hours;<\/p>\n
\u2014 \u2014Air permeability>96L\/m?\/s (pressure difference 100Pasdfssdfs);<\/p>\n
\u2014\u2014The mask fits the face without sagittal seams;<\/p>\n
\u2014\u2014If it is reusable, it needs to be able to withstand at least 5 cleanings. <\/p>\n
