On October 30, 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2021\/48. In response to the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers, polyurethane impregnation and polyurethane originating in China will be banned. The third anti-dumping sunset review investigation was initiated for coated, covered or laminated textiles. This case involves products under Turkish tax numbers 5903.20.10.10.00, 5903.20.10.90.00, 5903.20.90.10.00, and 5903.20.90.90.00. <\/p>\n

Stakeholders should submit questionnaires, case comments and evidence materials within 37 days of the announcement. <\/p>\n

On June 7, 2004, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into polyurethane-impregnated textiles originating in China. . On February 5, 2005, Turkey made a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on the products involved in the case from China. It levied an anti-dumping duty of US$1\/kg on the products involved under tariff numbers 5903.20.10.10.00 and 5903.20.10.90.00. .00 and 5903.20.90.90.00 are subject to anti-dumping duties of US$2.2\/kg. On December 2, 2016, Turkey made an affirmative final ruling on the second anti-dumping sunset review of the Chinese products involved, maintaining the anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of 5 years (see Announcement No. 2016\/44). <\/p>\n
