N$134,000 (N$2 million), semi-used clothes worth US$134,000 (N$2 million) have been imported from January to October 2021.  There are currently many online celebrities selling second-hand clothes in Namibia &#8211; mainly shirts and jackets. During 2016-2020, Namibia&#8217;s second-hand clothing imports amounted to US$1.2 million (approximately N$17.9 million), with a net weight of 1.3 million kilograms.  With the rise of fast fashion clothing production lines, ordinary consumers purchase more clothes. A large amount of unsalable and used clothes are shipped to Chile and then resold to other Latin American countries. Chile is suffering from serious &#8220;clothing pollution&#8221;. The desert in Chile is also known as  Fast fashion graveyard.
