In terms of category, knitwear exports increased significantly by 34.23% to US$5.12 billion compared with the previous year; non-knitted garment exports increased by 28.75% to US$3.9 billion. <\/p>\n
Cotton yarn exports increased by 18.67% to US$1.21 billion in 2021\/11 (financial year), and exports were US$1.02 billion in 2020\/2021 (financial year). Exports of cotton fabrics also increased by 26.91% to US$2.44 billion. Exports of pajamas increased by 34.23% to US$3.29 billion. <\/p>\n

Pakistan\u2019s textile machinery imports reached US$760 million during the same period, a significant increase of 29.13%. <\/p>\n
In 2020\/21 (financial year), the country\u2019s textile and clothing exports grew by 11.94% to US$15.4 billion, compared with US$12.53 billion in the previous year and 2018\/19. (Financial year) Exports were US$13.33 billion. <\/p>\n
