The export value of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) (Chapter 62) was US$2.668 billion, an increase of 21.4% from US$2.198 billion in 2021.  <\/p>\n<p>The export of clothing and accessories (knitted) dropped in December 2011, reflecting the sluggish global market demand; the export value in December 2011 also increased from 5.92 in the same period in 2021  US$432 million fell 27% to US$432 million.  The export value of non-knitted clothing fell by 1.1% to US$245 million.  <\/p>\n<p>The import value of knitted or crocheted fabrics (Chapter 60) in 2011 was US$2.891 billion, a decrease of 2.1% from US$2.952 billion in 2021.  However, compared with US$2.219 billion in 2021, the import value of chemical fiber (Chapter 55) increased by 7.2% to US$1.2 billion in 2011; the import value of cotton (Chapter 52) fell by 5.9% to US$508 million, compared with 5.4 in the same period in 2021.
