On August 16, 2023, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) issued the third anti-dumping sunset review of polyester staple fiber (Polyester Staple Fiber) imported from China, finalizing the final affirmative action on industrial damage. It ruled that if the current anti-dumping measures are lifted, the substantial damage caused by the import of the products involved to the U.S. domestic industry may continue or reoccur within a reasonably foreseeable period. According to the final ruling, the current anti-dumping measures in this case continue to be effective. In this ruling, all five members of the US International Trade Commission voted affirmatively. <\/p>\n

On September 6, 2017, the United States launched its second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into polyester staple fiber imported from China. On February 23, 2018, the United States made its second anti-dumping rapid sunset review final ruling on polyester staple fiber imported from China. On March 1, 2023, the United States launched the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation into polyester staple fiber imported from China. On June 9, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce made the final ruling on the third rapid anti-dumping sunset review of polyester staple fiber imported from China. <\/p>\n
